Posted on: November 3, 2016[ARCHIVED] Nicor Main Installations - Old Town North, Old Town South, Field Park and Ridgeacres
Over the next 6-8 weeks Nicor crews will be in the Village installing new gas main in the northwest portion of the community.
Work will include directional boring for new gas mains and connections to residential services. In some cases Nicor and its crews may be replacing residential services connections and/or gas meters. KS Energy or Nicor may contact residents to gain access to a home to inspect an indoor meter for relocation outside the home.
Some residents may have noticed green marking paint on the street in some portions of town. These markings are from sewer inspections and locations conducted by Nicor's sub-contractor.
Residents should have received within the past two months a flyer in the mail (attached) indicating the areas which will receive work.
