Public Works crews will be out on January 9th and 10th salting and removing additional snow and ice from streets and curbs. Now that temperatures have increased, crews will be attempting to remove the hardpacked snow on the streets.
January 10th is currently calling for potentially significant rain that could cause areas of street ponding where there may still be ice. Crews will attempt to clean the curbs, gutters and inlets prior to the storm.
The Public Works Department asks that residents refrain from parking on the street if possible during the day to allow for snow plows to clean the streets and gutters as much possible to allow for proper water drainage.
