As construction on the Central Avenue Reconstruction and Storm Water Improvements project progresses to a final road construction stage. During this stage, the east half of Central Avenue pavement, curb, and gutter, & driveways will be removed and replaced. The residents on Central Ave between Burlington Ave and 47th St will need to move their vehicles to a nearby side streets before 7 am on Tuesday, July 18th (weather permitting). Due to the construction, east side residents will be without driveway access for approximately 3-4 weeks. While your driveway is out you will need to park your vehicles on a nearby side street, or designated parking area.
