Wolf Road Rehabilitation Project - Delayed Due to Strike

June 13 update: The Village has been informed that this project will be delayed due to the strike of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150. Work will not commence until the strike is resolved.

June 1 update: The County has confirmed that work will begin the week of June 6, starting at 47th Street and progressing north towards Ogden. Expect delays.


The Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways (CCDOTH) will be rehabilitating Wolf Road this spring/summer. Work on Wolf Road will occur between Plainfield Road and 31st Street. This project includes curb and gutter repairs, asphalt pavement milling and resurfacing, concrete pavement patching, concrete pavement surface improvements, and new pavement markings. 

CCDOTH expects to start the project in early May, on the section of Wolf Road between 47th Street and Ogden Avenue. 

Residents will encounter traffic delays on Wolf Road due to this project. Learn more on the construction updates page of the Village website
