The Village has received several of J.U.L.I.E. requests to mark underground facilities for "telephone services installation." The Village is making these requests available to the public.
Please note that the request to locate underground facilities does not represent approval or permitting of any work to occur. The Village as a member of J.U.L.I.E. is required to locate all requests for its underground facilities (i.e. water, sewer, municipal fiber, etc.). Other underground utility companies such as ComED, Nicor, AT&T and others are responsible for marking their own utilities respectively, and receive similar notifications from J.U.L.I.E.
The firm requesting the J.U.L.I.E. locates is ASM Consultants, Inc. out of Batavia Illinois. The Village has reached out to ASM Consultants, Inc. in addition to Verizon/MCIAccess, and LTS Technical (applicant for the current fiber permit) get additional information regarding the locate requests.
