[ARCHIVED] Pickle Ball Clinic at the Rec Dept!

Looking to learn or advance your skills? It is easy for beginners to learn this quick, fast-paced, competitive game.  Pickle Ball is played with a paddle and a plastic ball in the style of tennis with some ping pong and badminton mixed in. It's great exercise and a fun game. Some basic skills that are covered in class include: Posture, Ready Position, Grip/Paddle angle, Comfort zone, Dinks, Footwork for dinks, Push it Forward, Keep it Low, Scoring, 2 bounce rule, Forehand and backhand shots, 3rd shot drop, Lobs, Over-heads, Court Positioning, Serve and Return of Serve. This clinic is designed for adults over 50. Equipment is provided or bring your own.
