The Village owns the residential parkways between the curb and the sidewalk. In areas where there is no sidewalk, the parkway is considered to be the land approximately 18 feet from the curb. A parkway is a right-of-way and contains no utility easements. Residents are responsible for mowing and maintaining the parkway adjacent to their property.
