If you live in Western Springs or Indian Head Park and take the train to work, Pace has good news for you. The suburban transit service encourages residents to leave their cars at home and use public transportation the entire way, taking Pace to and from the Western Springs Metra station.

Pace Route 669 Western Springs/Indian Head Park operates during weekday rush hours. The bus starts at Joliet Road and 64th Street and winds through Indian Head Park and Western Springs. Passengers ride for only $1.00 per trip, and can sit back and enjoy their newspaper. Pace 10-ride tickets and monthly passes are available for even greater savings.

Route 669 makes three morning trips to the Metra station along the Burlington Northern/Santa Fe tracks, and has six return trips in the evening. The morning bus meets trains that depart Western Springs at 6:51 am, 7:30 am, and 8:13 am. The evening bus meets trains that arrive in Western Springs at 4:35 p.m., 5:04 p.m., 5:18 p.m., 5:41 p.m., 6:02 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.

New Pace Eldorado coaches transport riders in improved style and comfort on Route 669. The 29-foot vehicles seat 26 passengers and are wheelchair accessible.
